next door neighbor has been harassing us by calling the local county officals on every construction law, because we were granted a building permit to extend our home to two levels. Her complaint was that she was losing her 75,000 dollar view of the water (this what she said in the zoning broad meeting. Ever since then she has called the county complaint about every thing we do. Has stopped the work being done on our house, and etc, The lastest is the electrical work. The local power company came on friday and advise us to in prove the structure of the temp. lines on the house. This was done and they came back and took a photo of the work. ( she had a photo that she took from her yard that she sent to the company first). Today a supervisor came by and is shuting us down because He did not aprrove the ok. I have been under the doctors care because of all this harassment from her. Can I file a complaint against her?

In a way she is threating in a way, she is just trying to get this house shut down any thing to cause us grief. Right now I am going back to my doctor because I am a nervous wreck. i don't know why she is doing this, after all when her new house was being built, we did not complain about anything. She just can not see that the planning broad finally give us permission to go ahead with the project. Also the first time we went before the broad she complained that she will lose her view of the bay, after all her house is the best. She can not see us improving our home. I don't understand that it is ok for her to call and get all inspectors ( town & county) here to try to close us down. When we have the approved permits to finish the job. Is that not harrassment?

SO,YOU ARE SAYING THAT I HAVE NO OTHER COURSE TO TAKE, SHE CAN CONTINUE TO CALL WHOEVER SHE CAN . THAT IS NOT FAIR AFTER ALL WE HAVE ALL OF OUR PERMITS FOR THE WORK. SHE IS NOW TRYING TO HAVE THE ELECTRIC SHUT DOWN. WE NEVER HAD WORDS AT ALL SHE JUST TURN ON US WHEN SHE RECEIVED THE LEGAL NOTICE THAT WE HAD TO SEND OUT TO OUR NEIGHBORS THAT THERE WAS A POSSIBLE ADDITION ADDING ON.
