I have been divorced for 7 years now I get 25.00 a month allomony I was wondering if I could go to court and get more alimony as the cost of living has gone up.

You can try to request a modification of support orders, but since you have been divorced for 7 years now, it will be tough for the court to grant you any increase as the judge can find that you should be able to provide for yourself and not ask your ex-husband to provide more support no longer having any relationship with this person for 7 years. Besides your husband is no longer responsible to assist in your standard of living. He is paying his obligation and that should be enough in the eyes of the court.

Again, you can try, but I don't see the court willing to grant it.
If your divorce was recent (say 1 to 2 years) and your ex-husband was making more, then it would be easier for the court to reconsider the issue.
