Does the IRS have an alphbetical file of business names ...

Does the IRS have an alphbetical file of business names (even not registered or not incorporated)? If so, I am looking for a company by the name of "XDC Finance" operated or managed by a Gary L. Sadler, Attorney at Law, in Hermitage, TN. Just like to know whether it's a legitimate organization. For, the Tennessee Secretary of State ofiice has no information at all regarding XDC Finance.

It would be difficult for you to get that information from the IRS. However, Dun and Bradstreet is to business what the credit beuresas are to you and I. I frequnetly use Hoovers and D&B to research companies for employment and business use.

Dun and Bradstreet have reports you can purchase on these two companies. Listings in the D&B do not prove a company is legitimate, it only shows that they are legitimately formed. The reports will include information that can help you make a decision about how legitimate their business activites are. The reports include a credit rating and history. You can also run a search in D&B and Hoovers on executive names. Membership is required, but worth it.

Thanks Ed Johnson for your reply! Had hoped to have gotten a more comprehensive reply about this ambulance chsing lawyer, Gary L. Sadler, from Hermitage, TN. Anyway, although not completely satisfied, it'll have to do.

Also by mistake, from inexperience with your site, did sent this request twice. Will I be charged $20 or hopefully just the $10 for your response?
