My ex was ordered to pay spouse support the 1st day of each ...

My ex was ordered to pay spouse support the 1st day of each month in our divorce decree, i get it maybe on the 20th if i am lucky..he is in the usaf , i have contacted the base many!! times they are of no help to me , he says as do they. that as long as my ex is paying it,it does not matter what day of the month i get it...i am soooo frustrated, doesnt the 1st mean the first ?thank you . stressed in vegas......
