Hello Lawmoe...
thank you for your quick response. is the spousel support even something the court would award even if the husband went to the court house and filed a no more responsable for my depts...

Yes. You may still seek an award of spousal support in a divorce. A request by your spouse to be held harmless for any debts in your name would not change your legal rights.
