I need your assistance terminating spousal support. I've been divorced 2 years this month, single-father of two children, on '18'and at a University this fall. The other '15'yrs. old. I earn $38K/yr. gross, but after deduct., a little over $2k/mo. I rent and work in Sacto. Coversely, my x-wife is on disability, p/t student, lives in Santa Rosa, CA, receives est. $1200./mo., which incl. the $500.00 in Spousal Support per mo. I pay her. The conditions surrounding this support have changed: $500 was estate dividend, but executor of estate terminated distributions eff. May, 2006. Am I still obligated to pay support, even though I'm struggling financially & $25k in debt?? If I'm unable to pay support, do I still have to??
