My elderly parents signed an agreement with a home improvement contractor stating that after 6 months if the contractor cannot come up with $75K to purchase their property that he would take his name off the deed. At this time, the contractor doesn''t have the money and refuses to take his name off the deed. How difficult will it be to get the contractor''s name off the deed. My parents have the signed agreement from him? Can this be done through small claims court?
