Hello,

I have custody/guardianship of my children ages 4 & 6 for approximately 3 years. The mother lives in another county approximately 65 miles away and currently is prohibited by law from contact with the children unless she fulfills certain court requirements. I've recently discovered that her father (paternal grandfather) & his wife (no blood relation) are secretly trying to arrange for contact between my children and the paternal mother. It has also been revealed that they have been anonymously attempting to sabotage my credibility as a father through means such as DFACS and others. The grandfather has a history of violence which I have witnessed and I am afraid they may even use force.

Hello,

If they have no court order visitation you are not required by law to allow them around the children. If they take you to court to request visitation rights you can by law submit any evidence you have of them attempting to allow visitation to the mother as well as the evidence of them trying to harass you with DFACS. That information alone may be enough to prevent visitation with the children.

I understand but I need a documented court restraining order. Can I get one and what type of information must there be to achieve this? The grandparents currently reside out of state but have arranged to move within 30 miles of my home.
