I have a ticket from Bexar County given in October 2000. They just sent me a letter stating a warrant was issued in just less than 7 years later. My license was renewed in August of 2003. They are saying I owe 825.00. My question is why so long? I completely forgot about it. It has never appeared on my driving record and did not stop me from renewing my license in 2003. Do I have any recourse to have this dismissed or significantly lowered?
