i have been paying child sup. for 15yrs. my children are grown now and i am paying arreas for the past 8years. the arreas started at 50,000, and i have not missed a payment once as i have been paying a court order of 100 a month. it is now down to 40,000. without warning the state of calif added a 10% intrest rate and somehow it is now a 92,000 bal. with intrest added every month. also without warning a levi was placed on my bank accounts. is this legal, and how can i stop them from removing this cash before 5-09-08. need help. louie n.y.

it said to pay 840 per month with a min of 100. this is an arreas payment only, and as i have have been in compliance all these years no intrest has ever been added on. how would i retain a copy of that court order imm.
