The May 1 offer was a revocable offer when made, despite ABC's statement to the contrary. There was no consideration making it a binding option.
This changed when ABC accepted the $500 on May 7th. It became an irrevocable (on the part of ABC) option. Therefore the June 1 attempt to revoke was ineffective.
The offer/ option terminated, or was cancelled, when on June 15th the State Bar refused the offer.
So, on July 1st, there remained no current offer to accept, and the State Bar's attempt to accept was ineffective.
The August 15th fax from ABC was likewise ineffective. The offer was not on the table, having already, on June 15th, been rejected by the State Bar.
