My mother put property in my name while I was married. I did not buy this property nor have I ever paid any taxes on it. I am getting divorced and my husband wants to bring this up as hidden assests. My mother may not have any closing documents because it was so long ago. How can I prove this is an inheritance. What can I do about locating the closing documents?
