Hi,
Please provide some details such as:
1. The kind of claim....auto accident...homeowner's...property damage....etc.
2. Is the claim against your insurance company or that of someone who was negligent in some way?
3. What is the date of the incident that gives rise to the claim?
4. What are the details of the claim itself? If injuries are involved, are you still receiving treatment?
5. How did the incident occur? Especially if the claim is against another person/his insurance company....they may resist the claim if they think the other person is not responsible and/or that you are responsible in whole or in part. This would delay settlement and your receiving money.
6. Any other details about this claim.
