I am a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was activated for 16 months. I was in th reserve. I received a check for my leave pay so I thought. Soon after I received a letter saying that I owe the money back. I contacted my old unit and thought it was tooken care of but it wasn't. The Department of Defense took half of my tax refund. As I try to call the numbers on the letters they tell me that they are the wrong one to talk to, they can't help me. I need to find out who do I need to talk to in order to get this situation tooken care of and get the money I am owed.
