my fiancee has been seperated for five years from his ex wife, she was in the military and we couldnt find her to do the divorce. because of an act called sailors and soldiers we couldnt do the divorce without her consent.....now that we've found her and the divorce is in the final stages we're upset because the nebraska court system makes you wait 6 months to get married after a divorce.....is there a way around that considering how long they've been a part? Or since colorado has no waiting period can we get married there before the one in nebraska is up?
