There should be a "return date" on the motion...the date the motion is set to be heard or at least on the calendar. You also by court rules would have a certain amount of time to respond. The purpose of mediation is to have the parties try to work things out before motions, trials or other formal legal proceedings take place....do you have a date for the mediation yet?
