I filed a Law Suit Pro Se against British Airways in Small Claims Court in Chicago-Cook County-Illinois
The case was sent to maditory non-binding mediation
The attorney for British Airway has filed a Motion To Dismiss prior to the mediation date
Will the Motion be heard and ruled on prior to the mediation
Also I can answer some the the listed reasons on the Motion To Dismiss but I need some help with the rest
Can I get that here and if so what would ne the cost

There should be a "return date" on the motion...the date the motion is set to be heard or at least on the calendar. You also by court rules would have a certain amount of time to respond. The purpose of mediation is to have the parties try to work things out before motions, trials or other formal legal proceedings take place....do you have a date for the mediation yet? I can help with the cases and statutes.

The case was ordered to Mediation 9 July with No Discovery as of that date-there is no discovery in Small Claims Court-He didnt show for the Status Call
The window for Mediation Scheduling is about 6-9 weeks out
The Motion to Dismiss is set on the Court Calender for 17 July 2007
This attorney is just trying to wear me down because its ProSe and he's tryin to slick me
His comment to me ov er the phone was 'he wished I had a lawyer so we could talk about this..."
What, I chopped liver
Along with the Motion were answers to my complaint
The first being that BA didnt have sufficient info to respond and they then denied the others along with the there affirmative defenses that I listed
I'm not afraid to plead my case and I think I have a pretty good issue beside my actual monie losses
Ive spent almost 40 years in a court room as I am a Retired Sgt Of Police from Chicago
I just need some help in answering some of these issue and a little procedural help
ProSe Representation does get alittle extra consideration in Cook County, Illinois
