The order to show cause shall be vacated means that his petition has been set aside. That is perfectly clear, what is not clear as you have guessed is the rest of the order "...and reset if they do not attend" not sure what this means, it could mean that it will be reset because one party did not attend." The best thing you can do is called the court clerk for clarification.
