My son has not been paid his wages in Boulder CO since

My son has not been paid his wages in Boulder CO since February and has a wife and baby to support , what can be done ? Everytime his company tells him he
will get paid on a certain date they tell him to come back in a few days . This week he was told to come in for his pay on Monday April 16th. and was told to come back on Thursday April 19th.

My son just keeps getting the run around so I am trying to find out if he and his fellow employee's have some kind of protection under Colorado Labor and Employment Law .

In Colorado and employee is due his earned wages by the next available pay day. Failure to comply with those terms subjects the employer to liability. Two things your son can do.

1) Is to Contact the Colorado Department of Labor and seek assistance in recovery his earned wages through mediation. You can access the form and information here.

2) Your son can sue to recover his earned wages, interest and applicable state fines resulting from the employer's breach of contract. Your son will be able to get all forms from the county court clerk.
