i live in a condo. our liability insurance co. is requiring that all first floor units (4) install self locking gates on their decks (owned by the unit owners). the condo asso. states that the unit owners must pay for the gates in that the decks belong to the unit owners. the unit owners feel the association should pay as it is a condo liability insurance requirement to have the gates installed. who should pay
