i am represented by a public defender. i have plead gulity after trying to reduce it to a misdemeanor (was told that they wouldn't do that). it is for forgery, but i did already make resitution, in full. first time this has ever happened......... was going through a tough time and not sure what the hell i was thinking. also (not sure if this matters at all, been told it does and that it doesn't...).... i am 7 months prengnant. with my first child. i have been in and out of the hospital the past 2 weeks due to complications. the father and i are trying to work things out, but told me he won't do it on his own (aka if i go to jail he won't take the baby......). i was pregnant before this came up. also my family life is great, but no one can take the baby either..... my grandfather is dying too. and have been taking care of my grandmother, and pretty much raise my 14 year old sister. do you think any character letters would help get the sentence that is recommended???? my sentencing is monday, just read the report yesterday.... so dont have a lot of time!!
