My daughter's boyfriend just turned 16 in August and she is going to be 20 in October. Are they breaking any laws by being together?

So currently there are three years between them. What state are you in? Get back with me.

This is an easy one for me. GA is home. Two different criminal charges would be in question, but only if one of the individuals is under the age of 16. 16-6-3 Statutory Rape - "commits the offense...sexual intercourse with any person under the age of 16 years.." And 16-6-4 Child Molestation - commits the offense...act to or in presence of any child under the age of 16...

There is also a 4 year rule, but that is for under the age of 16, and it is strictly from birthday to birthday.

So in short, No they are not breaking any rules in Georgia.
