How do I file and in what court since the Records Retention
Sent to Legal Experts July 17 04:51 PM

I filed to reopen my Divorce since I did not know of the Divorce and no one contacted me.The Divorce FINAL DECISION was set aside By Judge Graves for Hearings on Equitable distribution which were heard to conclusion after a few Years...The Court Rules say that the first *Final decision is set aside making it Legally "NULL and Void"...
Was it proper for the RECORDS RETENTION Clerks to Ignore the SET ASIDE Decision by Judge Graves which make the "Divorce Decision".. "NULL and Void" .
Could the Records Retention Clerks still distroy my records (PURGE THEM) after the SET ASIDE DECISION was Issued by Judge Graves while the trial for Equitable Distribution was still on going? I discovered the Purge during my APPEAL and found that my records were Purge destroyed and also that some Orders that were to be preserved for 60 years were also missing..I have been thru appeal and the New Jersey Supreme Court with denials of my Motions and Petitions..They would not allow me to expand the Lower Court Records with the newley discoved Records destruction..now
what?

I am sorry to hear that a divorce went behind your back. However, given that you have tried everything in your power and still nothing positive has come out, think it is time to seek a Family Law Attorney in New Jersey because he can take a closer look at your court file and see what else needs to be done. Look for a family law attorney who deals with your issues as they will be most familiar with the law and Rules of court. Good luck to you.

Reply to Lawyer, Broker 's Post: I have financial issues the Divorce cost me $30,000. I can file any Court Papers required..What Court is next in the Process, The Admin office of the Courts said my Question is a Legal one they can not answer and they wrote the Records Retention Poliocy for all New Jersey Courts..
What are they saying? They want a Court order to change their own Policy that was approved by the New Jersey Supreme Court?
I think I need a Federal Court on this is New "Case LAW" for sure...I was deprived of my Constitutional rights to due process etc and do not have another $30K or more to hire Another Attorney...
The Records Retention Court Clerks are way over their heads in Records Retention Policy they are not Attorneys to decide when a CASE is "Final" someone screwed up and I paid the price.
The Courts are a mess..How about the Federal District Courts is that where I should go?

I had an Attorney for the Divorce and afterwards he offered no help...He did not get excited or care about the Purge of all my Court Records
