I would like some advice as a mother and home owner ...

I would like some advice as a mother and home owner please,I have been with my partner for 4 years an we have a baby together,I own the house solely and all bills are in my name only,if we were to seperate what would my partner be entitled to and could he get full custody of our baby,he reckons that he is entitled to half of everything?Please help.

some states do allow common law partners to recieve half of all property. If the child is his he could indeed fight for custody.

If your home is paid for and you expect him to leave or try to take some of your property at least consider deeding the home over to your parents until thing blow over. This way he could not obtain the house or force you to sell it.

keep records on his behavior and money spending as well.
