In texas should employees get overtime after working 8 hrs if they work 12 hr shifts every day after 40hr. what we do here is we give them 8 hrs reg 4 hrs over time if they come to work the full week. If they dont we break it out 40 reg then what ever over time they get. we work 5 days a week. is it legal to be doing it that way
