Question

How do I get my deductible from my insurance co?

Sent to Legal Experts October 05, 2006 9:25 p.m.

I was cleared & absolved of any wrong doing in a car accident I had last year by the local court to prove I did not run a red light & the Commonwealth of MA insurance board this year in April 2006.If I ran the light that they stated, I would have been killed. My car insurance refuses to give me back my 500 deductible, although they reinstated my good driving points & reduced the amount of insurance I owed for the 2006 year. Their reason- they have proof I ran the light causing the accident. How do I get my deductible back?        .

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Two things that you can do that you need to have done.

File a complaint with your State Insurance Commission:

And file a complaint with your BBB of Ma.

The first link is going to more then likely get the job done for you. Let me know if you need further assistance.
