I need to find out the status of family members in the Philippines that have been petitioned to come and live here in the United States. It has been over 14yrs since the papers have been filed and they have not been contacted yet. I need to know if there is anyway to speed the process or if I need to submit more information to help in processing their papers.

Do they still have all the original paperwork. Who did they send it to here in the States or was this sent to the authorities in the Philippines.

I am not exactly sure who has the papers now, however, I do have the case #. Is there a way to find out the status by the case # and how can I do that?

REPLIED Check Mark

If they filed witht the US for immigration then after 14 years time I would suspect the paper work to be lost or not received.

You may call them direct at

National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283

Or go to the link if you have the case numbers and to the left of the link you can check the status. If nothing is showing then assume that no paperwork was ever received or has been lost in the mail. They very well may need to re-apply. It does not take 14 years to process the paperwork.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis Go to status of case.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
