As a permanent resident a second DUI does not automatically mean deportation. As a permanent resident you have the right to a hearing.

The likely hood of deportaion is greater with a second offence because it shows no rehabilitation; and the U.S. is getting tougher with its DUI laws.

You will need to have the DUI atty speak to an immigration attorney. It may help him to attempt to get the charges reduced.
