That is unfortunate. From your name, am I correct in assuming you are ~54yrs old, and that your 2nd simple possession conviction for marijuana was 36 year ago? Any trouble with the law since then?
I recommend that you contact an immigration attorney to represent you. Another legal expert recommended that you consider requesting a pardon. It would seem unreasonable that a simple misdemeanor possession charge 36 years ago would prohibit a thereafter law-abiding citizen the opportunity to travel abroad on vacation. Best of luck to you.
