I have met a lady from China who I have visited and now she comes here on travel visa. We want to get married her but are afraid they will send her back to China even though we are married.Her and daughter are here will she be allowed to stay?

I underdtand that you are saying after the marriage the biggest event is too sun,it change of status? I am relieve that she will not have to go back to China! Thank you for your advice.So her coming here to visit and that ending in marriage is not that unusal.

It is not unusual (there has always been a mail order bride industry here) but the government takes it serious so you will be scrutinized for a couple of years.

It is not something you want to do lightly. It sounds like that will not be a problem, however, any marriage is "work!" Obviously, no one can predict the future but if your concern is her random deportation without cause then I don't think that should be an issue. I don't know how old the daughter is but she will have to understand the "rules and regulations" as well until such time as she becomes a citizen.
