I am trying to get a CDL in Michigan but there is an issue in Illinois from 21 years ago, I was a resident of Michigan at the time, they have my address. I got drunk and was on a suspended license in Michigan but unkowingly gave the Illinois license. Now I cant take the test because they need proof that I was a Michigan resident. I even sent an employment application from 1984, along with a Colorado driver license proving I left Illinois long after 1978 and before 1986.   They told me 550.00 would clear it... But I already paid for the mistake in Michigan 21 years ago. What can I do???
