I just had a criminal background check performed on me and two misdemeanor charges came up from 2001. I was never served with a summons, never went into a court preceeding, never had any knowledge of these charges. How is it possible that they are showing as misdemeanor charges on my record, when I have no knowledge of them? I never received any punishment, of any kind type, for these charges and before yesterday when I was notified, had no idea they were even attached to my name.
