It means the public defender will be submitting a written plea of not guilty and requesting that a trial date be set for the defendant. Typically, the written plea can be requested without the actual appearance of the defendant.

Unfortunately I will not be able to help, as typically PD stands for public defender. I have searched the criminal procedure laws of Texas and it makes no reference to this and I am not sure what it stands for. The best thing I can do is opt out of this question to see if another expert who may know can jump in an answer.

I'm been following these case for school, its been very stange no court date or arraingnment has been filed,its been over 21 days,is it possiable that the police dept put a written plea of not guilty
