I was dismissed from my previous employer back on May 17, 2007. Due to other things in my life, I had forgotten to file for unemployment. Can I still apply and receive benefits IF i'm still unemployed? IF I CAN, my employer was located in nj BUT i reside in florida ... where do I file?

Dear JRomeo,

You can still apply for benefits. This is because no one can determine your eligibility until you apply. You would apply in Florida.
