I had my checks and many other trhings taken from me in or about 2002. I was arrested for a check I did not right. i was also told that because there are still more then 22 checks left in the box this could happen again. I cant hire a lawyer, and I did not right the check. I will be taking this case on by myself. I have more experience in family law, but I dont trust North Carolina law. How do I go about getting the original copy of the check? Further I have never had a membership with the company that said I gave them a bad chek. I do know however who gave the check know. I have tried to take him to court, but each time we had a court date he was called back for another matter for wrighting bad checks in other counties. I just need to know what forms I need to challange this. I have been told to just pay the check before going to court, but its my name on the line. This case is so old and the fact that it could go on for who knows how long is scary. as a victim I am know the bad guy
