How do you become a special eduction advocate ?

I am a teacher I'v taught for 28 year in special education and regular ed. I am teaching reading now. I would like to get into a new job. I am interested in being a sepical education advocate

Not sure if this information will be helpful, but you may wish to contact the Center for special education advocacy for training information. This agency here is a non-profit was created by advocates and provides training to advocates, parents and attorneys who are interested in becoming advocates, so I believe this would be the first place to contact for further specific information on requirements in becoming an advocate.
