How do I find out information about a company

I have a caveat on my land title that I need to have removed. The co-op that I originally got the loan from now do not exist

Hello (sheryl....) I don't associate the word "caveat" with anything that would encumber real estate. Do you mean an easement, a lien, a mortgage, or just what is it? Please provide more particulars.>
