my dog was involved in a dog bite last thursday (3/27). Animal control came to my home and told me that they had to take my dog for 10 days. Because of his hip problems, his vet had him transferred to her facility on Saturday. I picked him up today (10 days later). Animal control has now called me and told me that they need to pick my dog back up because the woman he was suppose to have bitten has requested a hearing. They told me that I have until Monday to bring him to them, or they will get a court order to search my house and take any pet that I have. What are my rights, because I will not surrender my dog again. I live in Baltimore Maryland. Please help.
