I was staying at a hotel chain last Wednesday night. I was doing some college homework on the bed when one of my notebooks began to fall off the bed. I reached down to grab it as it was fallen and I was suddenly shocked. Sparks flew and the electric went out in the room. The surprise and the jolt threw me off the bed. It was totally dark so I used me cellular phone for some light and looked at what shocked me. There were metal ins sticking out of the electrical outlet. They were attaches to a bracket that was screwed in to the outlet. I was injured by the burn of the shock on my pointer finger and also the current went through my ring on my ring finger and bunt me there. I also bruised my toe when it hit the bed frame. I did not seek any medical attention, but I did report it to the front desk and they moved my room. Now, 4-days later I am suffering from moderate constant left arm/shoulder pain, muscle spasms in my left hand / arm and a ringing in my ears. Do I have a lawsuit?
