My daugter is employed by one of fortune 500 accounting consulting company - she is working in the corporate finance division - she has been employed for the past three years - she has been recently promoted to manager level - inorder to accept the manager level position - company is forcing her to liquidate her some of mutual funds - she owns those mutual funds for last 20 years even way before she joined the company - can company force her to liquate the mutual funds? i am in massachusetts - to liquate mutual funds I will be paying capital gain tax - company is giving three option - non of options I like: Option 1) Do not accept the promotion, 2) get transfer to other states 3) leave the company
