Sent to Legal Experts July 06, 2007 11:23 a.m.

I have a computer software package consisting of audio (piano) sound samples and the engine to play them. I no longer use this software, have removed it from my computer, and would like to sell it to someone else. The software is covered by a standard EULA that says I don't own it and can't sell it. I think I should have first sale rights under existing US copyright law.
Do I have a right to resell this in the USA?
If so, is there a way to force the copyright owner to support this software for a subsequent owner?
