Am I legally allowed to print famous quotes and unknown quotes on t'shirts? If I am ,do I have to put the author after the quote or unknown after the quote or can I just print the quote with no author at all. These shirts will be sold in retail outlets. Thank you, I haven't been able to find this information myself, I appreciate your help! Have a great day!
These are the quotes I plan on using!

No dreamer is ever to small, and no dream is ever to big

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace

It takes a whole village to raise a child - african proverb -

Wherever you go, go with all your heart - Confuscious -

Live Life, Love Life

Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away

Hello and welcome to Just Answer.

You may use quotes from unknown sources, proverbs, and those which were published prior to 1923 as long as you cite your source. These are public domain. Short phrases like "Live Life, Love Life" are not eligible for copyright, but may be trademarked (e.g. "Have a Coke and a smile") You can research trademarks here.

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace" is a published lyric by Jimi Hendrix, and would be covered by copyright.
