Last year I bought a new TV and called Direct TV to connect to service I had with them. The stated I would need a new satelite and a new receiver. The disconnected my satelite that was installed and worked fine and installed a new one that after 3 weeks of sending techs out they never got it working. I called them and told them to just cancel the contract due to they could never get it working. Now they have put 568.00 on my credit saying I owe them 298.00 for early termation plus the two receivers which I sent back to them. Since they never installed a working satelite and I never signed a paper saying it was working do they have the right to put this on my credit report or can I fight them over it ?
