are my employers entitled to do this

i get an hourly attendance bonus can my employer reduce it and put it into my basic hourly rate of pay i was on £5 05 an hour and70p an hour att bonus they have just reduced my att bonus to 40p and put the 30p in my basic rate of pay so i get the new nat min wage of£5 35 can they do this

Your bonus may be used to average your salary to show that you are receiving the minimum wage.

However, reducingnn your bonus MAY be another matter. It depends on how your work contract was worded.

Generally, if your work bonus was part of your contract, it cannot be arbitrarily reduced without producing another contgract or amendment.
