regarding divorced parents consent and antidepressants for child

Does one parent need to have other parents consent to give antidepressants to their child? state is california and child is 8.

Are the parents divorced? If so, is there joint custody?

If divorced, does the order state that each parent must inform the other of any such occurrence, specifically that would pertain to this matter?

Also, did a professional doctor/psychiatrist prescribe the antidepressants?
