Reply to 4ren6's Post: I believe I was born in this country but I may have German relatives. I am not Japanese. I sent away to Saramento California for this copy in 1995. It says Federal Security Agency not FSA.

Ok, found it out.

The Federal Security Agency was the same as the Public Health Service from 1945-51. Perhaps due to the wwll and Korean war. The agency was in the middle of changing over to the Public Health service. Both agencies were for the health of the nation and kept vital stats on illness and STD's.

See the links for dates and time line. I just believe now the two are both the same and the Federal Security Agency has been replaced now with what is known as the Public Health Service.

I think we found it. It has nothing to mean other then it was reported to the Health Department as a birth.
