I have a house in california that has mold and we still owe 113,000.00 on it. We had it appraised for 130,000.00 but they did not see the extent of the mold problem. We can not afford to go fix the problems as we live in Idaho and are on social security. Our son-in-law has been living in the house and is now going to move out and we cannot afford to make the $800.00 payment. What should we do???

You can try to sell it, but you will have to disclose the mold problem so you may only get to sell if for what you owe on it, or you can try to get your insurance to pay for the problem and then try to sell it for market value.
