Sent to Legal Experts February 11 12:55 p.m.

under california law, as an employer, i have a section in my handbook that states that regular part time employees [who rg work more than 30 hrs a week] accrue some pro rata vacation pay. I o not state the ACCRUAL rate in any way. I state that would be on your job desc riptionb/ agreement specifically, on his I gave NO acrraul or even mention this. My question Is does the starte dictate WHAT that rate is? my SALAREID employees [my manual states] get 2 weeks a year for full time employ.] so does the 1.358 standard apply? or can I claim any accrual i choose? I am willing to pay a fair amount, since i did have some policy, yet does it have to be the same accrual as full timers in this case?
