A telephone company is automatically withdrawing

A telephone company is automatically withdrawing money from my father's bank account each month for 3 consecutive years. He has tried to call the telephone company and they state he has no account with him, yet they continue to withdraw the money. How can we stop this? He is on a fixed income!!
